Nakakaiyak ang naganap sa aming tahanan ngayong araw na ito.
Kaninang umaga. Naghahanda ako para pumasok sa school. Nagmamadali as usual. Pero, sa sobrang galak ko kasi imemeet ko si John, di ko napansin na, natapakan ko yung pusa namin! Wahhhhhhhhh. Iyak ako ng iyak.
Naalala ko pa. Ang pusang iyon ay pinulot ng aking bunsong kapatid. Ginawa naming lahat namin ni Carlos ang aming makakaya upang mapakain ang kuting na ito. Gumawa kami ng sariling feeding bottle na gawa sa bote ng pulbos at lobo. Bumili din ako ng medicine dropper para sa kanya. Ang dami naming pangarap para sa pusang ito. Kaya lang, sa isang iglap. Dahil sa kapabayaan. Dahil sa katangahan. Ako mismo. Tama. Ako mismo ang kumitil sa buhay ng mahal kong pusa!
Hindi pa siya namatay agad. Pagbalik ko ng mga 2 pm, buhay pa siya, naghihingalo nga lamang. Sa aking pag-iisa, hiniling ko sa Poong Maykapal na alisin na ang buhay ng aking pusa, sapagkat ayaw kong maranasan niya ang paghihirap na dulot ng pagkabali ng kanyang leeg na ako mismo ang may gawa. Isang himala ang naganap. Hindi man nabuhay ang pusa, dininig naman ng Diyos ang aking panalangin. Namatay na ang pusa.
Paalam mahal kong pusa. Hayaan mo, inilagay ko lamang ang iyong bangkay sa aming bubong. Para pagdating ng tamang panahon, kukunin ko ang iyong buto at gagawan kita ng magandang libingan. |
